ERPi is currently seeking a full-time Change Management Consultant to provide onsite support at our Washington, DC site.

The Role:
Within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) is transforming its ability to serve Veterans and ensure successful and efficient delivery of the $90BN in benefits it delivers annually. ERPi has been tasked with standardizing and maturing project management capabilities to ensure that delivery is streamlined and efficient.  ERPi is looking for experienced consultants to become part of a growth opportunity, including the expansion of our core general management consulting services.  In support of this effort, ERPi is looking for Change Management Consultants to:
  • Shape and execute various types of business analyses that will shape and drive implementation of the future strategic vision, operating model, and supporting business infrastructure of an organization undergoing business modernization
  • Develop various types of work products (e.g., reports, decks, project management artifacts, etc.) that support organizational change
  • Engage leadership across the organization highlighting and communicating key project management best practices, next steps, and implementation of the strategic vision
  • Develop understanding of how various industries (federal and commercial) mature their project and program management processes, and leverage corresponding best practices
  • Design, stand-up and operationalize a strategic program office responsible for shaping and driving project management activities, including policies, procedures, and governance
  • Developing plans associated with transition management, implementation of major initiatives, communications associated with major initiatives, risk assessment, and organizational transformation and culture change.
  • Completing change management assessments and change management strategy.
  • Creating actionable deliverables, such as a communication plan, roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, or resistance management plan
  • Supporting and engaging senior leaders; supporting organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
  • Integrating change management activities into project plan, and evaluating and ensuring user readiness
  • Managing stakeholders
  • Tracking and reporting issues
  • Defining and measuring success metrics and monitoring change progress
  • Excellence in executive-level oral and written communications (briefings, presentations, and strategic documentation)
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and communications and represent ERPi at client progress meetings and briefings.
  • Support client growth initiatives by identifying additional opportunities and scoping/responding to follow-on tasks.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., BS, BA)
  • Five (or more) years of experience in management consulting, including areas such as:   Change Management, Communications Management, Resource Management, Risk Management, Schedule Management, Organizational Analysis, Performance Measurement/Management, Organizational Transformation, Training
  • Ability to advise, design, implement, and deploy innovative portfolio and program management solutions
  • Ability to be an innovative, resourceful, and collaborative problem solver
  • Strong organization, prioritization, team-work and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas, and solutions logically in written and oral situations
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, results-driven environment
  • Ability to provide thought leadership to senior level client leadership

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with Big Four Federal consulting firms a plus
