HR Solution Acquisition / IV&V PeopleSoft Developer

Location: Washington, DC
Job Responsibilities:
Provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) oversight, testing, and analyses on the HHS HR Solutions PeopleSoft program to include:
(1)   Support IV&V oversight of program management, systems design, development, testing, and implementation of the upgrade from PeopleSoft 8.9 to PeopleSoft 9.2.
(2)   Review functional and technical requirements for the HHS HR Solutions program.
(3)   Evaluate plan and schedule for upgrade from PeopleSoft 8.9 to PeopleSoft 9.2
(4)   Evaluate PeopleSoft development process and procedures
(5)   Evaluate quality and completeness of technical design documents
(6)   Evaluate quality of code reviews, unit testing, and system integration testing
(7)   Evaluate quality of custom objects, PeopleCode, and Structured Query Reporter (SQR)
(8)   Document, support analysis of, and communicate evaluation results.
(9)   Perform reviews other work products, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
 

 
Required Skills and Experience:
·        10+ years of related experience
·        Experience with PeopleSoft
·        Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2
·        Experience developing, supporting, and administering custom objects, PeopleCode, and Structured Query Reporter (SQR)
·        Experience with PeopleSoft development best practices
·        Understanding of Human Capital Management processes and ERP systems
 
Desired Skills and Experience:
·        Masters degree
·        Experience migrating PeopleSoft from 8.9 to 9.2
·        Experience with HHS and its Operating Divisions
·        Ability to work without appreciable direction and to exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment
·        Ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria
