Project Management Consultant Analyst

ERPi is looking for experienced consultants to become part of a growth opportunity, including the expansion of our core general management consulting services.  

In this instance, we are seeking a consultant to support a core mission program at the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Office of Business Process Integration (OBPI). OBPI serves as the central entity providing business analysis, continuous improvement, and project management support across all VBA business lines, staff offices, and affiliate organizations.
Position Overview
In support of this effort, ERPi is looking for qualified Project Management Analyst to:
  • Support various types of business analyses that will shape and drive implementation of the future strategic vision, operating model, and supporting business infrastructure of a large, complex, program management organization.
  • Support the design and implementation of process improvements that integrate strategy, technology and people, reducing complexity and risk of mission-critical business imperatives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to document to-be and as-is business process flows
  • Coordinate working group sessions to gather business process data, stakeholder involvement (roles and responsibilities) as well as policy gaps.
  • Engage leadership across the organization, highlighting and communicating innovative solutions and findings to multiple levels of leadership.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., BS, BA)
  • One (or more) years of experience in management consulting, including areas such as:  Business Analysis, Organizational Analysis, Performance Measurement/Management, Organizational Transformation, Business Process Reengineering/Improvement, Change Management, Economic (Cost) Analysis, Business Case Analysis
  • Ability to be an innovative, resourceful, and collaborative problem solver
  • Strong organization, prioritization, team-work and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas, and solutions logically in written and oral situations
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, results-driven environment
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or other Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications
  • Experience with business process re-engineering and/or Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience with IT Modernization
