Talent Acquisition & Strategy Lead

Job Description:
Responsible for developing a strategic approach to identifying, attracting top talent to efficiently and effectively meet dynamic business needs. This role includes ensuring ERPi has a firm-wide collaborative model for firm hiring and will be responsible for other strategic elements like:
  • Talent Attraction Planning & Strategy – build a strategy that ensures business alignment, examines growth projections, infrastructure needs, e.g., people, process, tools
  • Employment Branding – includes activities that help articulate a company’s image, organizational culture, key differentiators, reputation, and products and services. Employment branding can help advance the market position of organizations, attract quality candidates and depict what it is truly like to work for that organization.
  • Candidate Audiences – defining the audiences in which ERPi needs to source in the market and/or for specific roles.  Different sourcing strategies need to be applied based on the understanding of the jobs and where the audiences will come from to fill them.
  • Candidate Relationship Management – includes building a positive candidate experience, managing candidate communities, and maintaining relationships for those candidates not selected, i.e., practices to keep and grow a pipeline of active candidates (not just applicants).
  • Metrics & Analytics – is the continuous tracking and use of key metrics to drive continuous improvement and to make better recruitment decisions, to ultimately improve the quality of our practices and our hires.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Advance the talent attraction strategy. May include job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent planning.
  • Manage talent attraction metrics. Show a clear line of sight on historical, current state, forecasted recruitment output, and periodic analyses.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee external and internal pipeline recruiting processes. Create effective and consolidated practices that streamline processes for similar or multiple hires.
  • Work with internal recruiting teams and hiring managers to assist with recruitment efforts. Develop and maintain efficient relationships with all hiring managers and administer all recruitment activities for various projects.
  • Assist with both external and internal hiring efforts (internal recruitment meaning assessment of employees for different or more senior roles.)
  • Responsible for compliance with all internal policies, compliance with all federal state and local employment laws and reporting requirements to include EEO & OFCCP.
  • Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers and HR professionals with hiring and employment data. May develop specialized or competitive intelligence and research in regards to talent development or retention.
  • Design and implement programs and processes to ensure effective sourcing and selection of top talent. Benchmark and lead social media recruitment strategy and methods of sourcing for passive talent.
  • Manage ERPi employee referral program and metrics.
  • Identify, evaluate and lead implementation of a sophisticated applicant tracking system and other recruiting software (e.g., candidate sourcing tools) to track applicants through the selection phase through to on-boarding.
  • Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years of experience recruiting highly skilled professionals in Government contracting environments.
  • 10+ years of experience with recruiting in an AAP / OFCCP compliant environment
  • 10+ years of experience using an Applicant Tracking Systems to source, track, and measure results
  • 10+ years’ experience recruiting for executive level positions
  •  5+ years of experience supporting and building rapport with C-level executives
  • Successful track record in leading large scale initiatives, including process improvements and re-engineering efforts for Talent Attraction effectiveness.
  • Experience with talent acquisition/attraction strategies for business development, capture and proposal initiatives within Government contracting environment preferred.
  • Highly collaborative with experience working in a multi-disciplinary team to develop sourcing and candidate capture strategies
  • Excellent organizational and communication (written & verbal) skills
