Senior Program Manager – Army RS3

Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland
Job Responsibilities:
This Senior Manager will work closely with their account leader to deliver Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) projects, specifically by organizing, directing, and coordinating planning and implementation of all business development, contract and program support activities. Senior Manager will interface with government personnel, determine and monitor project costs, manage and direct project personnel to ensure contract objectives and performance standards are met, interpret contracts, policies, purposes, and goals of the organization, and manage system safety studies. Additionally, the senior manager will identify, acquire, and use company resources to achieve project technical objectives.
 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum ten years of experience in management of design and development projects
  • Five years’ supervision of projects for C4ISR requirements on a federal contract.
  • Recent knowledge of Army organizational processes, risk management, quality processes and quality management, schedule and cost control, basic contracting law.
  • Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement, Army Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement, and Defense Logistics Manual (DLAM 8210.1).
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Master’s degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

ERPi title and role description
After a hire decision is made, the candidate will work with their manager to associate their job with a current ERPi title for the purpose of performance reviews. The ERPi title will encompass the reporting structure, responsibilities of the position and the role of the individual within ERPi. Once determined, the ERPi title will also defines leadership competencies that are expected to be demonstrated by those who hold this title. This will provide the basis to manage performance and for annual performance reviews.
