Senior Program Analyst - VHA Office of Strategic Integration

Background:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), requires professional support services to assist VHA and the Principal Deputy Under Secretary for Health (PDUSH)—who is accountable for specific health care programs enabling and supporting virtually every aspect of patient care provided to Veterans-- with the development, administration, and management of various emerging initiatives, some of which are legislatively mandated.
 
ERPi will provide services of a cadre of highly knowledgeable and experienced personnel (program management and program implementation resources; health systems subject matter experts; communication experts; budget analysts; and program analysts) to provide direct expert recommendations and to support the further development and provision of program management best practices, program implementation, program evaluation, change management implementation, and business processes, standards, and procedures under the auspice of the various emerging programs including the Veterans Access Choice and Accountability Act of 2014 (VACAA).
 
Role Description:
The contractor shall designate a Program Analyst to support VHA in the analysis and evaluation of program effectiveness. This includes program reviews requiring systematic ways of assessing the quality of current and future VHA programs to determine ways to improve programs. This includes measuring success, outcomes, and improvement programs. In some instances, the Program Analyst shall assist VHA in executing program operations to meet the previously established goals and objectives. In addition, the Program Analyst shall provide input on the program evaluation and improvement of the organization and management of projects and programs to increase productivity/program performance. The Program Analyst shall also assist VHA in the identification of program resources and assist in the development of program reports.
 
Required Skills and Experience:
* 8 years proven experience in a large scale Government Integrated Health Care System
* Extensive experience in a large scale Government Integrated Health Care System with substantive programs focused on Veterans health care and outreach
* (e.g. Patient Centered Medical Home; Mental Health; Prosthetics; Tele Health; Mental Health (including Residential Rehabilitation and PTSD); Women’s Health;
Specialty Care; Veterans Homelessness;
Geriatrics and Extended Care; Rural Health; Patient Centered Care; and, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM)).
* Bachelor’s degree
