Lead Recruiter

Location: Fairfax, VA
Position Responsibilities:
As a Lead Recruiter, we require a professional that will work closely with ERPi’s leadership and management team to manage the workflow of recruiting, and coordinate the onboarding of client facing and other related personnel.  This candidate will reach out to and maintain communications with professionals that have the right combination of experience, education and skill to fill particular positions within Federal Consulting. The Lead Recruiter will work with the hiring managers to prioritize, develop and execute recruiting plans in addition to assisting with other duties as assigned.

Expected areas of support include:
  • Candidate pipeline management and workflow administration
  • Initial non-technical screening communications with candidates and required follow up
  • Initiating hire paperwork, negotiating and extending offers, facilitating onboarding hand-off with HR Admin and Security Officer
  • Guide candidates throughout the selection process through timely and effective communication, disposition, and feedback
  • Understanding of position descriptions and requirements in order to source and attract accurate candidates. Coordinate phone and in-person interviews with Management Team
  • Maintain accurate candidate documentation in Applicant Tracking system. (job postings, interview notes, next steps etc.) Facilitate status reports as needed
  • Track open requisitions from beginning to close with hiring managers and candidates
  • Assist in the ongoing engagement of active and passive quality candidate to increase talent pipelines
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying job description and job qualifications to ensure minimum requirements are met; meeting with Hiring Managers and Recruiting Lead to discuss needs
  • Support of proposal recruiting initiatives by understanding RFP requirements and Federal Labor Category requests
Required Skills & Experience:
  • The recruiter must have a minimum of 6+ years of experience with full lifecycle recruiting, and proactively work with their operations team to workload balance and complete all tasks on time. 
  • Candidate must have a willingness and high interest to learn new tasks, processes and tools, and where needed complete self-learned and formal training to strengthen and master required professional skills. 
  • Other required skills and experience includes:
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple program areas and with other recruiters to maximize organizational staffing and recruiting productivity
  • Demonstrated understanding of cradle to grave recruiting process in a Federal Consulting environment
  • Experience supporting proposal and business development efforts.
  • Understanding of Federal Contracts and recruiting for key personnel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook scheduling
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and online sourcing techniques. (Previous experience with CATS ATS is preferred)
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills. Demonstrated effectiveness working efficiently, productively, and with urgency in a fast-paced high-volume work environment
  • Solid analytical, reasoning and deduction skills; high level of attention to details
Desired Experience:
  • Prior recruiting experience in Federal Healthcare Consulting (preferably, Department of Veterans Affairs)
  • Education: BS/BA college degree
