ERPi is currently seeking a full-time Scheduler to provide onsite support at our Washington, DC site.
The Role:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is committed to providing seamless care for Veterans, including access to a complete electronic health record (EHR) and shared, transparent care pathways with the Department of Defense (DoD) and community providers.  In order to ensure seamless care for Veterans, VA will move toward a single common system by adopting the electronic health record (EHR) system that is being deployed by DoD, which at its core consists of Cerner Millennium.   Currently the VA is undertaking an enterprise-wide Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) effort through the procurement of the Cerner commercial electronic health record software and related support services. This modernization of VA’s health information management systems will result in a common, single, lifetime health record that both DoD and VA can access, with anticipated improvements in patient care and safety.

This role will Support the development and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule at the IPO and in coordination with DoD and VA stakeholders. The incumbent will monitor and report progress towards milestones. Aid in building, estimating, scheduling, and measuring performance on complex government health IT programs. Monitor the program’s execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria. Develop and manage a project or program schedule that will communicate to all levels of the project team and stakeholders effectively. This role will also be tasked with preparing and presenting briefings on schedule status and program health to varying levels of management.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline
  • 10 years of experience in a professional work environment (18 years if education requirement is not met)
  • Experience with
  • Scheduling and planning
  • Complex or large projects
  • Managing enterprise or integrated schedules
  • Experience with
  • Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other scheduling tool
  • Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
  • Ability to critically assess schedules and other project controls data and communicate priority findings to teams

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Prior experience supporting DoD and VA
