Records Manager - Knowledge Manger

Location: Washington, DC
ERPi is currently seeking a full-time Records Manager-Knowledge Manager to provide onsite support at our Washington, DC site.
 
The Role:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is committed to providing seamless care for Veterans, including access to a complete electronic health record (EHR) and shared, transparent care pathways with the Department of Defense (DoD) and community providers.  In order to ensure seamless care for Veterans, VA will move toward a single common system by adopting the electronic health record (EHR) system that is being deployed by DoD, which at its core consists of Cerner Millennium.   Currently the VA is undertaking an enterprise-wide Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) effort through the procurement of the Cerner commercial electronic health record software and related support services. This modernization of VA’s health information management systems will result in a common, single, lifetime health record that both DoD and VA can access, with anticipated improvements in patient care and safety.
This role will work as a Lead Workforce Management Analyst, including acting as a member of Address the knowledge management, records management, and process documentation management needs of the VA Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM) and lead efforts to enhance processes across the program. Advise on, develop, and implement a knowledge management strategy to drive knowledge creation, capture, sharing, collaboration, use, and transfer. Advise on NARA records management policy and develop retention policy for program documentation. Gather user requirements, analyze business processes, and work with divisions to define and scope SharePoint projects, document requirements, and applications functionality. Support the development of program processes and best practices. Serve as the program expert on matters pertaining to knowledge management and record archiving procedures.
 
 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline
  • 10 years of experience in a professional work environment (18 years if degree requirement not met)
  • 4 years of experience with knowledge management in a professional environment
  • 2 years of experience with SharePoint solution configuration or customization
  • 2 years of experience with NARA records management policy
  • Experience with Microsoft Productivity Suite, including OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to multi-task, balance competing priorities, pay strict attention to details, and meet deadlines
 
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint to track and manage outstanding and completed tasks
  • Experience with Microsoft Planner
