MS Project System Administrator

Location: Washington, DC
ERPi is currently seeking a full-time MS Project System Administrator to provide onsite support at our Washington, DC site.

The Role:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is committed to providing seamless care for Veterans, including access to a complete electronic health record (EHR) and shared, transparent care pathways with the Department of Defense (DoD) and community providers.  In order to ensure seamless care for Veterans, VA will move toward a single common system by adopting the electronic health record (EHR) system that is being deployed by DoD, which at its core consists of Cerner Millennium.   Currently the VA is undertaking an enterprise-wide Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) effort through the procurement of the Cerner commercial electronic health record software and related support services. This modernization of VA’s health information management systems will result in a common, single, lifetime health record that both DoD and VA can access, with anticipated improvements in patient care and safety.
The MS Project System Administrator will complete the configuration and implementation of MS Project Online cloud-based and client-server Project Management Information System enterprise. The administrator will conduct capacity planning, change control, determine integration concepts, and required third-party tools in alignment with general Veterans Administration (VA), Government Accountability Office (GAO), and specific VA-Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) support requirements and management guidelines. They will manage troubleshooting issues related to Project Online integration with Outlook Active Directory topology and related features in a domain environment. Further they will leverage their knowledge of system administration practices and environments, including SharePoint, Windows Active Directory, system integration dependencies, and system security hardening methodologies 

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems, business or related scientific/technical discipline
  • At least 10 years of professional experience (18 years if degree requirement is not met)
  • 3+ years of experience with MS Project Online, Project Web App, MS Project Server
  • 3+ years of experience with SharePoint 2013 and 2016 as a site collection administrator
  • 3+ years of experience as a SharePoint administrator in a 2013 or 2016 environment in a virtual (VMWare) environment
  • Experience with upgrading and migrating SharePoint, including major version upgrades
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer and InfoPath
 
 
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with administering and configuring authentication protocols, SSL, IIS and certificates
  • Experience with Microsoft Access and SQL Server and experience administering Microsoft Project Server 2010/13/16 SharePoint or other Microsoft certifications are highly desired
  • Experience with developing SharePoint sites and applications
  • Knowledge of SharePoint configuration in a Windows environment
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, DNS, and Active Directory
  • Ability to build maintenance, monitoring, and operations scripts
  • Ability to analytically solve problems and determine preventative measures
  • Ability to work independently but also to communicate and work with a team
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including giving presentations before application and system owners
  • Possession of excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • VA experience preferred
