Director, Portfolio Management

ERPi is seeking experienced consulting leaders to help grow a sustainable market offering for the firm focused in several areas, including:
• Data Analytics, with an initial emphasis on the application of contemporary predictive analytics capabilities and technologies to preventing Fraud/Waste/Abuse in Federal agencies. 
• Strategic Planning and Strategic Portfolio Management, as well as deliver associated organizational transformation services to clients in the Federal government. 
• Business Strategy & Operations, Intelligent Process Automation, and Product Innovation/Incubation.  The focus of this offering entails helping clients implement corporate (business) strategy, transform their core business and operations, prepare for growth in demand, embrace the digital agenda, all the while maximizing operational efficiency. 
The most critical requirement for success in this position is demonstrated success leading and growing a portfolio of high visibility and dynamic consulting projects and teams.  Functional skills in one or more of the areas above is helpful, but less important than demonstrated success in leading consulting portfolios.
The successful candidate for this position will take a disruptive view of client business challenges – working with senior client leaders to devise and implement new solutions at the intersection of analytics, technology, people, and process that solve chronic pain points in enterprise operations. 

Required Skills and Experience:
• Demonstrated success in growing and developing new market teams and service offerings within the Federal management consulting domain.  This includes demonstrated success in three leadership areas:  1) Client (market) thought leadership and delivery excellence; 2) Business development (revenue generation); and 3) Corporate development (e.g., talent/leadership development, intellectual capital creation, internal business process management)
• Experience leading medium to large consulting portfolios within fields such as Data Analytics (i.e., Data Science/Predictive Analytics, Data Analysis), Portfolio Management, Process Improvement and Automation, and/or General Management Consulting (GMC) (e.g., Business Strategy, Organizational Transformation, Operations Improvement/Turnaround, Change Management). Demonstrated success managing portfolios $10M or more, including more than 25 professionals.
• Demonstrated success in extending the scope of current contracts and winning competitively awarded procurements.  Experience leading successful capture efforts exceeding $10M.
• Solution Innovation/Incubation – demonstrated ability or aptitude in quickly grasping/assessing client business and operational challenges, identifying and shaping new solutions that employ emerging analytics technologies (e.g., machine learning, artificial intelligence), digital services, or new business models/practices, then piloting and subsequently implementing those solutions into live client operations
• Proficiency in all aspects of managing Federal contracts, including financial (budgeting, monitoring, and profitability analysis) and risk management
• Proactive and collaborative leadership style, focused on driving client thought leadership as well as developing next tier consulting leaders for the firm
• Ability to be an innovative, resourceful, and collaborative problem solver
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail
• Strong organization, prioritization, team-work and communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work in a dynamic, results-driven environment
• Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., BS, BA)
• US Citizenship
 
Additional Skills and Experience:
• Prior experience in market leadership with Big Four consulting firms or similar top consulting firm in the Federal consulting domain is a plus, with demonstrated results in shaping and building new service offerings and market teams in various technical domains.
