Location: Falls Church, VA
ERPi is providing consulting support across a range of functions to the Navy Bureau of Medicine & Surgery (BUMED).  BUMED is Navy’s agency responsible for the delivery and management of healthcare to 3+million Navy Active Duty, retirees and dependents.  A sampling of areas supported by ERPi include:  Clinical programs, Behavioral Health, Pain Management, Medical Home Port, Operational Medicine and Health Records Management. ERPi is seeking a Registered Nurse with 12 years of experience to join a high performing team that supports BUMED in program management, studies and analysis, and consultative advice on emerging trends and issues impacting decision making by BUMED.
The Role:
  • To support BUMED, ERPi is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, who will be responsible for ….
  • Provides advanced technical knowledge and analysis of medical coding and clinical documentation.
  • Provides high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on complex problems which require senior level nursing knowledge. 
  • Applies principles, methods, and expertise to specific task order requirements.
  • Designs and prepares technical reports, studies, and related documentation. 
  • Provides senior level training, as well as prepare and deliver presentations, and briefings as required by the task order.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret information from professional journals, technical
  • procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Presents information and responds to questions from physicians, staff and patients
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience interacting with patient populations and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret information from professional journals, technical
  • procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, staff
  • and patients.
  • Experience with Military Health.
  • Knowledge and experience using AHLTA/CHCS and Cerner.
  • Able to function effectively in a team setting
  • Needs to demonstrate consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent
  • interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.
