Communications Analyst

Location: Falls Church, VA
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the Army, Navy, and Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force and ready medical force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high-quality health services to more than 9 million Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS. ERPi is seeking a Communications Analyst with 5 years of experience in to join a high performing team that supports the Defense Health Agency in program management, studies and analysis, and consultative advice on emerging trends and issues impacting decision making by the Assistant Secretary of Defense/ Health Affairs and senior DHA leaders.
 
The Role:
ERPi is  recruiting for a Communications Analyst to support Navy Medicine's Medical Readiness (M34) directorate.  Additional detail  for this position is listed below:
  • Formulate strategic and tactical communications such as: communication/message development for stakeholder engagement and status reporting to the Medical Readiness community over the network
  •  Facilitate stakeholder interviews to understand current tactical communications infrastructure
  • Develop a communications plan in support of M34
  • Develop standardized templates for various communications methods (i.e., email, newsletters, website materials, etc)
  • Create and maintain a stakeholder registry for M34

Required Skills and Experience:
  • BS/BA degree in Communications or relevant field
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to handle multiple programs/ projects
 
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Previous working experience serving in a similar role
