Communications Analyst

Location: Falls Church, VA
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the Army, Navy, and Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force and ready medical force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high-quality health services to more than 9 million Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS.
ERPi is seeking a Communications Analyst with 5 to 7 years of experience to join a high performing team that supports the Defense Health Agency in program management, studies and analysis, and consultative advice on emerging trends and issues impacting decision making by the Assistant Secretary of Defense/ Health Affairs and senior DHA leaders.

The Role:
  • Develop an enterprise change management strategy and plan which includes stakeholder identification and sponsorship management, communications, training and organizational readiness assessment as key components.
  • Work with the project team to understand process changes and the effects on functional areas across the enterprise
  • Perform Change Impact Analyses
  • Identify local and organizational risks and develop mitigation strategies as part of Project Risk Register
  • Develop and implement an enterprise-wide communication strategy
  • Execute and manage change tasks and deliverables and facilitate organizational change events when required
  • Generate and maintain advocacy at the executive level of the organization and stakeholder buy-in both prior to, during and post-implementation
  • Create measures of effectiveness for change efforts and review regularly to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and deliver executive-level briefings to GS-15 and SES-level clients
Required Skills and Experience:
  • BS/BA degree in Communications, Change Management or relevant field; MS preferred
  • At least 5 years’ experience leading major change management efforts
  • Experienced in development and deployment of organizational change management strategies
  • Experience interacting with and presenting to Executive-level clients
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Certifications within Change Management field (i.e., PROSCI)
  • Experience working with DHA
  • Previous consulting experience
