Communications Consultant (Junior)

Location: Washington, DC
ERPi is currently seeking a full-time Communications Consultant (Junior) to provide onsite support at our Washington, DC site.

The Role:
Within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) is transforming its ability to serve Veterans and ensure successful and efficient delivery of the $100B+ in benefits it delivers annually. ERPi has been tasked with standardizing and maturing project management capabilities to ensure that delivery is streamlined and efficient.  ERPi is looking for consultants to become part of a growth opportunity, including the expansion of our core general management consulting services.  In support of this effort, ERPi is looking for Communications Consultants to:
 
  • Support high priority initiatives that shape and drive implementation of the future strategic vision, operating model, and supporting business infrastructure of a large, complex, program management organization.
  • Support the design of process improvements that integrate strategy, technology and people, reducing complexity and risk of mission-critical business imperatives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to document to-be and as-is business process flows
  • Facilitate working group sessions or meetings as needed.
  • Engage leadership across the organization, highlighting and communicating innovative solutions and findings to multiple levels of leadership.
     
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., BS, BA)
  • Two (or more) years of experience in areas such as strategic communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement, human centered design, or user experience
  • Ability to create high quality communications materials such as PowerPoint decks, infographics, technical documents, oral presentation supporting materials, surveys, social media, or other types of reports
  • Experience with strategic communications, social marketing, behavior change, change management, or stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to clients’ communications challenges or problems
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including interacting with all company and client levels effectively
  • Ability to be an innovative, resourceful, and a collaborative problem solver
  • Strong Design and Thought-Image conceptual skills
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas, and solutions visually
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, results-driven environment
     
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • SharePoint Administration experience a plus
