Management Consulting Program Manager

Location: Fairfax, VA
Since 2001, ERPi has helped federal agencies improve mission, business and technology performance.  As an advisor to Senior Government Leaders, we focus on assisting clients navigate challenges with both organizational and technical complexity. ERPi is looking for experienced program managers to become part of a growth opportunity, including the expansion of our core general management consulting services. 

Preferable candidates include experienced leaders within the Federal consulting domain (e.g., Big Four consultancies) with demonstrated ability to manage large and complex contracts that include a significant management consulting component. Key aspects of the role include:
• Manage one or more large programs, leading the overall direction, strategic priorities, and staffing for the contract. 
• Own all finanancial, contractual,scope, schedule and risk mitigation aspects of a complex and transformational program.
• Engage leadership across the organization, highlighting and communicating innovative solutions and findings to multiple levels of leadership.
• Ensure client satisfaction with our team’s delivery and seek opportunities to expand and grow our work.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience managing large programs and/or projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., BS, BA)
  • 3+ years of experience in one or more general management consulting domains (e.g. business analysis, organizational analysis, performance measurement/management, organizational transformation, business process)
  • At least 2 years of experience managing teams of >10 people
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas, and solutions logically in written and oral situations
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, results-driven environment
  • Ability to provide thought leadership to senior level client leadership
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Desired Skills and Experience: 
  • Experience with capture and/or proposal development
  • Master’s Degree or equivalent
  • Lean Six Sigma and/or equivalent certifications
  • Experience with projects that integrate business with technology needs
