Strategy & Operations Innovation Lead

Location: Washington, DC
ERPi is currently seeking a full-time Strategy & Operations Innovation Lead to provide onsite support at our Washington, DC site.

The Role:
ERPi is seeking experienced consulting leaders to help grow a market offering for the firm focused on Business Strategy & Operations, Intelligent Process Automation, and Product Innovation/Incubation.  The focus of this offering entails helping clients implement corporate (business) strategy, transform their core business and operations, prepare for growth in demand, embrace the digital agenda, all the while maximizing operational efficiency.  A key attribute of success in this position is taking a disruptive view of client business challenges – working with senior client leaders to devise and implement new solutions at the intersection of analytics, technology, people, and process that solve chronic pain points in enterprise operations. Ten (or more) years’ experience in functional areas such as:
 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Operations Strategy, Business/Operations Transformation, Intelligent Process Automation/Analytics, and Digital Services
  • Ability to lead the growth and development of new markets and service offerings within the Federal management consulting domain
  • Demonstrated success in three leadership areas
  • Client (market) thought leadership and delivery excellence;
  • Business development (revenue generation)
  • Corporate development (e.g., talent/leadership development, intellectual capital creation
  • Solution Innovation/Incubation – demonstrated ability or aptitude in quickly grasping/assessing client business and operational challenges
  • Identifying and shaping new solutions that employ emerging analytics technologies (e.g., machine learning, artificial intelligence), digital services, or new business models/practices, then piloting and subsequently implementing those solutions into live client operations.
  • Proactive and collaborative leadership style, focused on driving client thought leadership as well as developing next tier consulting leaders for the firm
  • Ability to be an innovative, resourceful, and collaborative problem solver
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Strong organization, prioritization, team-work and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, results-driven environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., BS, BA)
  • US Citizenship
  • 10 years experience
     
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Prior experience in market leadership with Big Four consulting firms in the Federal consulting domain is a plus, with demonstrated results in shaping and building new service offerings and market teams in various technical domains
