Senior HR Manager

Location: Fairfax, VA
ERPi is currently seeking a full time Sr HR Manager to provide onsite support at our Fairfax, VA site.

The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Senior HR Manager. Working closely with the head of Human Capital and Administration, Vice Presidents and the management team, the Senior HR Manager will be engaged in and lead a variety of Human Resources activities to develop and build a culture and environment that drives business success and engages a progressive, growing workforce.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement peers to drive a people-focused, comprehensive workforce strategy
  • Provide expert advice and systems and process development in the areas of employee relations, regulatory compliance, compensation and benefits administration and staff development.
  • Work with senior leadership to evaluate and design contemporary compensation and benefits programs and initiatives for the company; implement and manage company benefits programs.
  • Provide counsel regarding HR practices, policies and procedures to all levels of management and employees.
  • Draft, maintain and oversee education of staff and managers re HR related policies; ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures and provides coaching and guidance when necessary.
  • Provide systems support, analysis and delivery of technology solutions to meet the needs of the HR Department and users of the HRIS system throughout the company.
  • Oversee the development of a suite of operational reports or queries
  • Assist with management of implementations, updates, data, and innovative solutions (onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management).
  • Lead projects to create interfaces with HRIS system
  • Administer employee performance review process, developing policies and procedures
  • Monitor completion of performance reviews and ensure supervisors meet deadlines; aids managers and employees to ensure a successful appraisal process
  • In conjunction with CHCO, conduct analysis of organization’s compensation practices, develop occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary and base pay scales
  • Coach managers when dealing with performance related issues, including, assistance with writing performance improvement plans
  • Employee coaching, ensuring necessary documentation is in order, assistance with employee disciplinary, and reviews recommendations for separation.
  • Oversee the administration of employee leave of absences; FMLA, disability, and worker’s comp
  • Provide leadership and counsel regarding employee complaints and workplace investigations to ensure matters are appropriately handled in a legally complaint manner.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • SHRM Certification
  • 10+ years’ experience in HR
