Data Management Specialist

Location: Washington, DC
ERPi is currently seeking a full time Data Management Specialist to provide onsite support at our Washington, DC site.
The Role:
The data migration and data cleansing specialist will work with a team of experts to analyze and cleanse data in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) legacy financial management systems prior to conversion and migration to the Integrated Financial and Acquisition Management System (iFAMS) solution, which is based on the Momentum software platform. Data cleansing involves reviewing, and when necessary, correcting legacy financial system data so those data can be converted into iFAMS without intervention at the time of final data conversion. Data cleansing is critical to facilitate a smooth transition to the new financial system and to ensure data integrity as the new system goes live. Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with data conversion activities including data management, data migration and data cleansing, ideally within the federal government
  • Database management expertise to include data analysis and SQL query development and execution;
