System Interface and Deployment Specialist

Location: Washington D.C. Metro, DC
ERPi is currently seeking a full time System Interface & Deployment Specialist to provide onsite support at our Washington, DC site.
 
The Role:
The VHA Executive Team is tasked with supporting the transition of VHA from the old system to the new financial management system.  The executive team aligns their activities with the VA FMBT program workstreams.  These workstreams include: project management, policy, business process reengineering, organizational change management, data migration and cleansing, training, systems interfaces, internal controls, deployment readiness, user acceptance testing and operations. The system interfaces and deployment specialist will support the VHA Executive Team in the transition of VHA to the adoption of the new Momentum financial management system deployed across VA.  The successful candidate will interact and coordinate with VA FMBT, Financial Service Center and Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) technology team who are responsible for system integration and deployment.   Possible duties include providing input and review of interface design and development. Support subject matter experts in their modifications to legacy systems.  Support readiness and cutover activities to deploy the iFAMS solution. Provide feedback on operational performance and provide requirements for changes to be addressed by FMBT team within a production instance. 
 
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Design and build solutions for IT system interfaces, infrastructure, security
  • Readiness cut over activities for deployment of new system
  • Design service delivery model to run operations
  • Techniques to measure operational performance for software as a service (SaaS) deployment
  • Agile certification
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel including but not limited to application of formulas, macros, filtering, pivot tables, graphs and charts
  • 5+ years of consulting experience working on process improvement projects;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or information technology related discipline (e.g. computer science, networking, data management, engineering, accounting, finance, etc.);
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills,
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, and expert knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
     
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience using enterprise architecture as a decision tool
  • Experience with VA system conversions;
  • Experience with VHA financial systems;
