Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Fairfax, VA
ERPi is currently seeking a fulltime Talent Acquisition Manager to provide onsite support at our Fairfax, VA site.
The Role:
  • Responsible for the design and management of a staffing function and associated activities of recruitment and hiring to ensure a strategic focus, highly effective and compliant operations.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on sustaining and optimizing recruitment model/structure by leveraging cost effective solutions to maximize quality of hire and minimize costs.
  • Provide coaching and thought leadership to the Recruiting team reinforcing key skills and high-performance standards, while enabling a collaborative approach and sharing of best practices. 
  • Work directly with business leads and hiring managers to understand business goals and determine next steps as well as integrate recruiting best practices and/or process improvements to further company goals. 
  • Oversees the sourcing and identification of qualified, diverse candidates in accordance with the organizational and legal requirements
  • Drive productivity goals and metrics to ensure consistent fulfillment and productivity across the team
  • Collaborate with leadership and BD to set pipeline strategy, conduct talent acquisition planning and forecasting sessions.  Lead efforts to building a robust pipeline of diverse talent
  • Direct management of overall resources to ensure a timely/quality response to internal customer needs. 
  • Drive sourcing strategy for hard to fill positions, large program executions and niche roles.  
  • Be a trusted advisor to senior leaders by partnering and implementing overarching talent acquisitions strategies to help the company win and grow current and future business including new business pursuits
  • Manages, coaches, and develops a recruiting team on recruitment strategies.
  • Manage REQ load across recruiting team to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Establishes standards and goals for performance and uses metric reports to monitor, analyze progress and deliver assessment to organization leaders
  • Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Responsible for effectively communicating workforce plan, progress and results to senior management
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of compensation philosophy and practice including salary negotiation and presentation of offers
  • Exercises knowledge of employment law and sourcing tools for active and passive candidates
  • Represents company in several external forums, conferences and events
  • Ensures service level agreements and business hiring objectives are being met
  • Manages recruiting budget and expenses
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience recruiting highly skilled professionals in Government contracting environments.
  • 10+ years of experience with recruiting in an AAP / OFCCP compliant environment
  • 10+ years of experience using an Applicant Tracking Systems to source, track, and measure results
  • 10+ years’ experience recruiting for executive level positions
  • 5+ years of experience supporting and building rapport with C-level executives
  • Successful track record in leading large scale initiatives, including process improvements and re-engineering efforts for Talent Attraction effectiveness.
  • Experience with talent acquisition/attraction strategies for business development, capture and proposal initiatives within Government contracting environment preferred.
  • Highly collaborative with experience working in a multi-disciplinary team to develop sourcing and candidate capture strategies
  • Excellent organizational and communication (written & verbal) skills
