Sharepoint Developer

Location: Washington, DC
ERPi is currently seeking a full-time SharePoint Developer to provide onsite support at our Washington, DC site.

The SharePoint Developer will lead the enhancement of IT infrastructure and tools to support the evolving PMO. The Developer will work closely with a SharePoint Administrator to create an enhanced SharePoint portal that better enables better decisions and standardized program management practices.

Work with client and contract leadership to define business needs and translate them to IT tools and infrastructure (starting with SharePoint). Design, develop, and maintain a SharePoint portal that can seamlessly facilitate enterprise solutions. Conduct systems analysis and programming activities related to SharePoint development, maintenance, and installation to support internal business operations. Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the development of new ideas and principles. Solve uniquely complex problems, working under consultative direction. Speak for the organization to internal and external customers regularly and work on long–range programs and objectives. Provide advice to the organization in expertise and play a role in overall functional strategic planning.

Required Skills and Experience
  • 4+ years of experience with SharePoint and full life cycle development
  • Experience with producing responsive, multi–platform Web applications using a variety of integrated development environments, graphics software applications, techniques, and tools
  • Experience with advanced workflows, multi–group permissions, and sub–site management, enforcing visual and user interface (UI)/user experience (UX) consistencies for third–party sites, and expanding the capabilities of out–of–the–box SharePoint, including SharePoint Designer, CSS, HTML5
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Web development in Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and 2013, network engineering, SQL Server databases, and desktop applications
  • Experience with SharePoint and new site collection migrations
  • Knowledge of current Web–based technologies and trends, including HTML 5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, and media queries, OS/PowerShell scripting and SharePoint Platform and Content Management development
  • Ability to translate client requirements into application designs and systems requirements
  • Ability to assist with the collection and documentation of requirements, LOE estimates, synchronization, security, and accessibility of production Web and business applications
Desired skills and experience:
  • 2 or more years of consulting experience.
  • Experience on large transformation, system integration, and/or architecture contracts.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience developing detailed migration plans.
  • Experience in collaborating maturely with various teams and audiences at a senior level
  • Experience with participating in the migration of existing sites and Web applications to a content Management System, including SharePoint, or HTML 5 Web application
  • Experience with developing, deploying, and supporting SharePoint 2013 sites using languages and tools, including SharePoint Designer and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of various past and present IT solutions
Education and Certifications Requirements:
  •    Bachelor’s degree
