Senior Project Manager

Location: Washington, DC
ERPi is currently looking for a fulltime Senior Project Manager to provide onsite support at our Washington, DC site.
 
The Role:
ERPi has been awarded a contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide Program Management, Requirements, Planning and Testing services to the Multi-Channel Technologies (MCT) Program.  The VA Multi-Channel Technologies (MCT) Program and Enterprise Veterans Operations (EVO) were established in-order-to provide on-demand access to comprehensive VA services and benefits in a consistent, user-centric manner through a multi-channel virtual self-service and call center processing framework. This framework is aimed at enabling clients to find uniform information about VA’s benefits and services regardless of the access channel used to complete their transactions with VA. It allows for quick identification of Veterans without having to repeat information and will allow Veterans seamless access to multiple VA service lines. MCT/VEO supports VA Call Centers, VA Contact Centers, CRM Enterprise Platform Support systems and integration's, Telephony implementations and enhancements, and self-service capabilities to include eBenefits, the Stakeholders Enterprise Portal (SEP), and Digits-to-Digits (D2D).
 
Please note: this is an on-site contract in Washington, DC which does not allow for regularly scheduled telework.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT or related field
  • (PM) with 15 - 20 years of proven experience performing as a Senior Manager leading large teams comprised of matrixed and subcontract personnel
  • Guiding IT projects through the software/system Development Life-cycle (SDLC)
  • Experienced with the Software (or System) Development Life-cycle (SDLC)
  • Experienced leading Agile software development projects
  • Experienced implementing the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices in the customer environment
  • Experienced supporting large scale and transformational programs and projects (annual IT budget greater than $25M)
  • Demonstrates a firm understanding of business development and the proposal life-cycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (particularly to non-technical audiences)
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, results-driven environment
  • Ability to work on-site daily in Washington, DC without regularly scheduled telework
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance


Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experienced supporting multiple project or delivery teams, simultaneously
  • Experienced supporting cloud, managed services and advanced analytics is a plus
  • Experienced supporting cyber-security and privacy programs is a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PM related certification(s) is a plus
