Senior Revenue Billing Analyst

Location: Fairfax, VA
ERPi is currently seeking a full time Senior Revenue Billing Analyst to provide onsite support at out Fairfax, VA site.

The Role:
This position will assist with the financial activities of the organization. The candidate will assist the Management Team as necessary and will prepare invoices, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, assist with management reporting and other business activities.  The position will report directly to the Controller but will collaborate will all members of the finance, contracts and operations team.  Responsibilities include:
  • Invoice customers in a timely and accurate manner; Ensure invoices are in compliance with appropriate contracts, guidelines and regulations; Identify issues, research and recommend remedies as appropriate
  • Respond in timely manner to customers and internal inquiries regarding invoices.
  • Run AR trial balances at month end to compare to GL balance prior to closing out subsystems.
  • Assist with AP processing when needed.
  • Perform account reconciliations;
  • Assist with preparation of reports required by DCAA, IRS, State and Local agencies as well as other ad hoc reports.
  • Support pricing of corporate proposals as needed.
  • Assist with preparation of corporate, franchise and property tax returns along with year-end tax provision disclosure.
  • Special projects as assigned; Assist with audit preparation.
Required Skills and Experience: 
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business
  • More than 5 years of experience working with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and accounting software, preferably, JAMIS Prime.
  • More than 5 years of experience working with various types of government contracts (FFP, T&M) and customer invoicing
  • More than 5 years of experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and its requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Effective problem solver with demonstrated experience being proactive
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office applications (strong Excel skills) and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and quality work products
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
  •   CPA or applicant preferred
