Opportunity Overview:
ERPi has been awarded a contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide Program Management, Requirements, Planning and Testing services to the Multi-Channel Technologies (MCT) Program.  We are looking for experienced Project Managers (PMs) to lead diverse teams in supporting these critical initiatives at our Washington, DC client site.
The VA Multi-Channel Technologies (MCT) Program and Enterprise Veterans Operations (EVO) were established in-order-to provide on-demand access to comprehensive VA services and benefits in a consistent, user-centric manner through a multi-channel virtual self-service and call center processing framework. This framework is aimed at enabling clients to find uniform information about VA’s benefits and services regardless of the access channel used to complete their transactions with VA. It allows for quick identification of Veterans without having to repeat information and will allow Veterans seamless access to multiple VA service lines.

Please note: this is an on-site contract in Washington, DC which does not allow for regularly scheduled telework.

Job Responsibilities:
The PM performs multiple tasks associated with the management of one or more small- to medium-scale projects.  Specific tasks may include:        
  • Support government lead in managing project(s) from a business perspective by implementing Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices       
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects within constraints of schedule, budget and scope       
  • Lead discussions around formulating and defining project scope and objectives in accordance with customer technical requirements       
  • Compile and analyze data to assist government personnel in making data-driven decisions       
  • Advise VA management and customers on complex system projects and activities       
  • Identify, track and mitigate project risks and issues       
  • Create and define project communication systems, tools and frameworks       
  • Support client growth initiatives by identifying additional opportunities and scoping/responding to follow-on tasks       
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on project documentation       
  • Train and mentor junior level staff
Required Skills and Experience:  
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in a project management environment       
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)       
  • Knowledge of and experience implementing Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices       
  •  Experience in a leadership and/or manager role       
  • Experience supporting large scale projects (over $1M)       
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills       
  • Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills (particularly to non-technical audiences)       
  • Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs       
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, results-driven environment
  • Ability to work on-site daily in Washington, DC without regularly scheduled telework       
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Desired Skills and Experience:       
  • Experience working with VA and/or federal agency strongly desired       
  • Experience with Agile software development projects strongly desired
  • Experience working on telecommunications, call center and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions is a plus       
  • Experience supporting Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects is a plus       
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other PM related certification(s) is a plus
