Senior Test Engineer

Location: Fort Belvoir, VA

Job Responsibilities:
Leads the overall integration of business process requirements of specific functional area(s) into the enterprise level solution.  Plans and manages structured interviews, focus groups, documentation reviews and meetings with technical personnel to analyze system requirements and risks. Works directly with functional staff members to analyze specific application design and data requirements to ensure that the final system incorporates required functionality.
  • Lead planning teams or governance/decision forums as required or directed
  • Participates in stakeholder engagement venues as directed or required
  • Participates in system related Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) or similar venues related to functional implementation of validated and approved system requirements
  • Develops and implements system and test validation processes and procedures to ensure deployed functional requirements meet stakeholder needs. 
  Required Skills and Experience:
  • US citizen (no dual status)
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Active secret or recent secret clearance       
  • 12+ years relevant experience in test script development (modular testing), HP-ALM experience and UFT test experience       
  • Experience on large scale SAP development projects leading the integration of functional requirements into system improvements       
  • Superior written, verbal and oral communications skills
  • Self-starter
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Master’s degree in related field       
  • Previous SAP experience in the Federal/DoD sector.
