Recruiting Coordinator

Job Description:
The Recruiting Coordinator position will be responsible for completing the tasks necessary for the overall success of the Recruiting Team and hiring process. The ideal candidate would have familiarity with outlook scheduling, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have basic office skills. Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support to recruiting staff to include: tracking candidates, collecting performance metrics, handling initial candidate screens, coordinating phone and in-person interviews, developing authority to hire document and tracking progress, drafting offer letters, and coordinating onboarding with HR
  • Data entry and maintenance of the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate candidate tracking. Assist with the collection/tracking of data associated with Department of Labor regulations (specifically OFCCP).
  • Proofreading and editing job descriptions for content, grammar, spelling and formatting to make job postings “marketing-ready”
  • Working with recruiters and hiring managers to create candidate screening sheets
  • Ensuring candidates complete employment application prior to interview
  • Preparing and managing position metric reports
  • Interview scheduling - contacting candidates to determine availability, coordinate interview times with hiring decision makers and applicant, and send Outlook meeting requests to participants. After interview, will follow-up for internal interview evaluations.
  • Facilitate scheduling between outside recruiting agencies and the recruiting department.
  • Post positions and track applicant flow in Applicant tracking system (CATS).
  • Coordinate and assist with recruiting events such as open houses, job fairs, and campus recruiting visits.
  • Provide general administrative support for the recruiting team including preparation of interview packets, correspondence, reference checks and scheduling meetings.
  • Provide assistance for recruiting activities for across work locations.
  • Assist the recruiting team with other project based assignments as needed.
 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 1-3 years of experience (will accept experience in lieu of degree)
  • Ability to manage and/or prioritize multiple requests across entire company.
  • Very strong calendar management and scheduling capability
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements quickly.
  • Highly motivated with good organizational skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with minimal direction and in a team environment.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and written with technical staff, peers, management and with clients.
  • Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills.
  • Good analytical, critical thinking and reasoning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Technically proficient in using all MS Office programs but specially Word and Excel and Outlook.
