Information Assurance Auditor

Job Responsibilities:
Supports the Army for their General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program, specifically, to ensure that the following security and information assurance requirements for the system are met:
  • Confirms that the security design is appropriate to secure all hardware, software, and infrastructure and that it will support future system upgrades.
  • Coordinates with systems, network, and systems database administrators to implement application or system design specifications and coordinate integration across multiple platforms and technologies.
  • Serves as a technical expert within area of assignment, providing guidance and direction to other professional staff and solving complex problems. 
  • Prepare, review, and maintain security violations and incident reports prior to submission to leadership and response teams in accordance with Incident and Intrusion reporting requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain the monthly Cybersecurity/Information Assurance controls / metrics for submission.
  • One time install and quarterly review of configuration of Host Base Security System application.
  • Experience with strategic and tactical security issues of systems and networks, and associated requirements specific to deployed architecture.
  • Experience with network security, network and systems intrusion detections, advanced devices, and firewalls.
  • Evaluate the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of operation processes with corporate security policies and government regulations.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, information systems or a closely related business or technical field.
  • Four (4) years of work experience performing development and analysis in a complex information systems environment.
  • Knowledge of methods and techniques of eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and processes.
  • Knowledge of advanced principles, methods, and techniques used in designing, developing, testing, and implementing business systems.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent GIAC certifications
  • A current DoD or other U.S. Government agency issued Secret clearance is required.  A Top-Secret clearance may be needed, depending on specific system access that is required
  • U. S. Citizenship is required
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Advanced Degree with concentration in Information Security
  • Meet the requirements of DoD 8140.1 (DoD M-8570.01) for IAT Level III and IAM Level III
