Information Assurance Analyst

Location: Arlington, VA
Job Responsibilities:
Provide information assurance support to the Army’s General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) SAP ERP program.
  • Proactively monitor and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities in the network installation and propose solutions
  • Enforcement of Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) dissemination, reporting, compliance, and verification procedures
  • Support all Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) requests from the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for system access
  • Coordinate with the ArcSight development team on the creation and updating of reports and alerts to ensure compliance with Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) continuous monitoring controls
  • Create a Request of Exception (RFE) for issues that cannot be resolved
  • Conducts analyses and documents intrusion incidents and data
  •  Performs routine cyber-security/Information Assurance administrative tasks.
  • Advise and assist in the preparation, development, and completion of Information Assurance documents.
  • Analyze and provide trends on security constraints and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant business or technical field
  • Requires 1-2 years of related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, team leadership, development and client relationship skills
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Advanced Degree with concentration in Information Security
  • Meet the requirements of DoD 8140.01 (DoD M-8570.01) for IAM Level II or IAT Level II.
