Business Process Management Analyst

Location: Arlington, VA
Job Responsibilities:

Supports the Army for their General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) SAP ERP program, specifically business process architecture development and review to ensure compliance with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA).
  • Reviews the models for compliance and loads them to the Army Enterprise Knowledge Repository (EKR).
  • As needed, supports the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) changes or updates including collaborating with the Army EKR owners as changes are made in either the repositories or regulations that might impact the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) overall.
  • Establish relationships with and foster collaboration among all functional areas of the organization.
  • Help identify opportunities for organizational improvements,initiate and develop recommendations for strategic and tactical solutions.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate operational difficulties and make recommendations to solve problems.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to overall program success.
 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, information systems, or a closely related business or technical field.
  • Seven (7) + years of experience with consulting in a business, government, or military arena.
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both Business and IT individuals at all levels, including senior management.
  • Experience working with senior management to understand and document business strategies and requirements.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • Experience with industry methods for process improvement, organizational design, or performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of DoDAF v2 and ITIM Self-Assessment tool
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
 
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with business process modeling and visualization tools.
  • Excellent data gathering and analysis skills.
  • TQM, Lean, GB certification or other six sigma training / expertise.
  • Understanding of network and system administration.
